Covering pagelinen.com and its orders

This policy explains how JENNIFER ANN CHAGOLLA FUNY LLC, trading as PageLinen, handles personal information collected through pagelinen.com, its checkout and its support channels. The company’s mailing address is 17425 N 19th Ave, Apt 2206, Phoenix, AZ 85023, United States. When the policy is revised, the effective date above moves to the day of the change.

Summarizing what’s collected

Category Examples Why
Identifiers and contact details name, email address, phone number confirming the order, answering messages
Addresses billing address, delivery address taking payment, printing the shipping label
Order details design, size, color, amount paid, order number making and shipping the top, handling returns
Payment status approved or declined, last four digits where the payment service shares them matching payments to orders, refunds
Device and visit data IP address, browser type, pages viewed security, counting visits
Messages emails and contact form entries support and returns

Using the information

The information is used to take payment, have the top embroidered and shipped, send order and tracking emails, handle returns, refunds and chargebacks, answer questions, keep the site secure and keep the records that tax and accounting rules require. The newsletter reaches only people who subscribed, and each issue ends with an unsubscribe link.

Setting cookies

Cookies here exist to keep the cart and the checkout running. WooCommerce uses cart and session cookies so the cart remembers what’s in it. A session cookie named PHPSESSID is set during browsing and checkout. Cloudflare, which protects the site, may set a security cookie when it checks traffic. With no advertising or social media cookies on the site, there’s no cookie banner to click through. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are treated as having opted out, though there’s nothing to switch off.

Collecting what you type in

To place an order, PageLinen needs to know who’s buying, where the top goes and how to reach you: a name, both addresses, an email and a phone number. Writing through the contact form shares whatever you put in it, plus your name and email. Signing up for the newsletter shares an email address and nothing else. Card numbers are typed into the payment service’s own form and don’t reach PageLinen.

Logging visits automatically

Server logs and Cloudflare note where a visit comes from (the IP address and, if any, the referring link), which browser and device made it, and which pages it opened. That record exists for security.

Receiving data from payment services and carriers

PayPal and the card payment service tell PageLinen whether a payment went through, and sometimes the last four digits of the card. Once the top ships, scan updates flow back from the carrier, and the partner confirms the hand-off.

Sharing with the businesses that fill an order

Personal information goes only to businesses that help complete an order or run the site. The production partner receives the name, delivery address, phone number and the design, size and color so it can embroider the top and label the package. Carriers receive the name, delivery address and phone number. PayPal, Stripe and the checkout service that connects them to the store receive the billing details and the amount. Cloudflare handles site traffic, and the web host and email delivery service store and send site data and order emails. Each of them may use the information only to do that job.

Naming the categories each provider gets

Service provider or contractor Categories received
Production partner in the United States identifiers, delivery address, order details
Carriers identifiers, delivery address, order number
PayPal, Stripe and the connecting checkout service identifiers, billing address, amount, payment status
Cloudflare IP address, device and visit data
Web host and email delivery service everything stored on or sent from the site

Selling nothing

Personal information isn’t sold here, and it isn’t passed along for cross-context behavioral advertising. To date no outside company has bought customer data, and none is lined up to. Customer contact details are never handed to another business for its own marketing.

Keeping data out of AI training

Personal information isn’t used to train, fine-tune or test large language models or other AI systems, and it isn’t sold or licensed for that purpose.

Sending nothing to ad platforms

No customer emails, phone numbers or order details are uploaded to Google, Meta or any advertising platform, hashed or otherwise. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it starts.

Keeping records

Record Kept for
Orders, invoices and refunds 7 years, for tax and accounting
Support conversations, by email or form 24 months, counted from the last message in the thread
Newsletter address until you unsubscribe

Protecting stored data

The site runs on HTTPS. Only the store’s own staff can sign in to the admin side, and card numbers are never stored on pagelinen.com. No system can promise perfect security, so a suspected problem should be reported to support right away.

Asking to see, fix or delete data

Depending on your state, you can find out what PageLinen holds about you, receive it in a portable file, have errors fixed, have it erased, and opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising (none of which happen here).

  1. Send the request to contact@pagelinen.com or through the contact form; a subject line of “Privacy request” gets it sorted fastest.
  2. Include the email address used for orders, and an order number if there is one, so the request can be matched to you.
  3. Expect an acknowledgment within 1 business day and an answer within 45 days. Some requests need longer; one 45-day extension is allowed, and you’ll be told why.

Someone you authorize in writing can act for you. Records the law requires, such as tax records, may be kept after a deletion request.

Appealing a decision

If a request is refused in whole or in part, reply to the decision email with “Appeal” in the subject. Appeals are answered within 45 days. Residents of states that offer it can then contact their state attorney general.

Exercising California privacy rights

California residents have the rights described above under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, including the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, which PageLinen doesn’t collect. For the opt-out itself, see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Using any of these rights doesn’t change prices or service.

Exercising rights in other privacy-law states

Similar rights exist under the laws of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia. PageLinen answers requests from every other state the same way.

Protecting children

The site is meant for adults, and orders need a buyer who is 18 or older. No personal information is knowingly collected from children under 13. If a parent finds that a child sent information, writing to support gets it deleted.

Leaving sensitive data out

Nothing sensitive is requested: no Social Security number, no medical or biometric data, no precise location.

Clicking through to PayPal or a carrier’s tracking page means leaving pagelinen.com. From then on, that company’s privacy policy is the one that counts.

Writing about privacy
